  11. Hi there.  Sorry to pester everyone, but I have what I think is a fairly
  12. simple question.  I am trying to get a modem to work on our office's phone
  13. system.  It's a multi-line system (4 lines) I believe.  I don't think
  14. there is a PBX.  
  15.  
  16. When you pick up a phone, if you want to call, you *have* to press a 'line
  17. button' on the phone to activate it.  There is no automatic dialtone.  The
  18. problem is, of course, that the modem does not know how to get a line and
  19. gives me the message "NO DIALTONE."  
  20.  
  21. How can I fix this?  Is there a simple AT command that I can affix to the
  22. dialing command (or something) that will allow the modem to pick a phone
  23. line?  Help!  Help!  Help!
